Does anyone know where I can get a pair of knee high boots that won't have a gap at the top, if you know what I mean. Whenever I get a pair with zips they are never tight at the top and I want brown leather ones, not the ones you pull on. Help!
Thank you

i have the same problem. you end up lokoing like you are wearing wellies. Try faith. i got some lovely boots from there about a month ago. Brown or black, no zip and a bargain at only 50,.

I bought some from Evans, as I have a larger than average (whatever that is) calf, they zip up nicely, come in black or brown, only cost 40. Not leather, although the onle pair I could zip up! They have loads of others that fit really well.
This is a problem whether you have skinny or wider calves isn't it? I found a pair in Schuh (sp? - can't be bothered running to my shoe rack) that were the loveliest fit for 80.
Try duoboots.com, they take your calf measurements and make you boots from a choice of styles
i had the same problem trying to get a pair last year. i hunted high and low for weeks and i ended up getting a pair in quiz! i know its cheap and a lot of thier stuff is tat but these are really nice (not real leather though). try younger shops, i think they make them smaller in the calf.
