i used to spend about 60 in asda (before changing to tesco) and once decided to try morrisons and spent 90! i was horrified and never went back!

I spend ever so slightly more in tesco, but the quality is 10 times better than asda!

I would say Morrisons have better specials (buy one get one free etc) & own brand basics are OK but you have to watch the brand name stuff. One example is Krisprolls which are 59p pretty much everywhere but over 70p in Morrisons.
I have not been to Asda so wouldn't know about their prices but I did have a Morrisons until recently (they have just closed it down) and I liked Morrisons which was a Safeway, better than Tescos. They always did buy 1 get one free items every week. They did more offers when it was a Safeways. It's a pain in the arse that they shut it down because the only nearest food store is Iceland which is not the same.

I have to say i prefer morisons. I have ben going ther for 2 years and tend to spend about 40 quid. I decided to try tesco and asda for a while and found them brilliant the first time but after a fiew visits the price kept creeping up. I am back at morrisons now and quids in!!
