Hope you had a lovely meal, abbey. Which one did you wear?

For the impatient and opinionated among you...I'll repeat what I said elsewhere...

Abbey mentioned in past threads that she suffers from dyspraxia.

I suggest doing some research on adult symptoms...then come back and be critical.

................................................

Abbey...I think some support groups were suggested last year...were you able to contact them?

Know that there is no cure for it, Pasta, but can be helped by various therapies.  If Abbey admits she has this, then perhaps she should not be putting so many questions to Answerbank members who don't understand the problem.

I do understand her problems as I have a couple of friends who have adult children with the same problem, difficulty in making decisions etc.  so please have some respect now.

She has been asked to explain how it affects her, but hasn't.

That is her prerogative, Zacs.

Another point - there must be a poor mother/daughter relationship when a 30 year old has to cry for advice/help here.
However, I realise that's what we're here for!

It is, floko but it's not helping.

Exactly what I thought Moorea.

And, expressing or talking about these things may be difficult.

I do wish people had more empathy...instead of shouting wind up!!!

I think it obvious (at least to me) how she is affected and it would be difficult for her to write coherently her specific problems. Social interaction is not easy for her, especially typing it all out here

To be fair floko she has way more 'social interaction' than I do!

Anyone here remember Desktop ?

Redhelen, me too! but online conversation is a problem for her..... I can manage that I think 🤦‍♂️

There is a Dyspraxia Awareness group on Facebook which Abbey could join if she wishes.

Tha main rules are : be kind, courteous and no bullying.

We need those rules here...

Just a thought 🤔

One worrying thing is that, with the difficulty in movement and co-ordination which the problem presents, dog walking might not be such a good idea? Abbey has professed her love for that task.

Moorea. Some do not have the physical coordination problems, just social connection.

All I asked was, the same as Countrylover...  Abby. Do you own all the clothes you link on here, and decide (or we decide) which one you should wear?  And more to the point, when we decide, do you rush out and buy it, so you can wear it that same night?  Still waiting for an answer Abby, can't be that difficult to answer the question.

I can't see why it matters if someone doesn't want to tell us.  The lack of proper feedback or explanations from abbey, and her dismissing/ignoring suggestions doesn't seem to deter people from trying to help - see the pages and pages of responses. Eventually some may decide to keep away but I'm sure many will persevere (or play along).

It's a bit of a saga, NMA, people get hooked. Next it will be returning to the subject of a guy who is on WhatsApp, the 60 year old man at the Kennels, the friends who ignore, the list is endless and we will try to give advice😊 That's the way it goes.

Smurf, she said in an earlier thread that she already has the clothes
