Nope

No.

No.

No. They are mostly supermarket ads and as I'm away and get fed by others they don't influence me at all.

Well it does appear that some sort of contest is on for the most entertaining, and finishing off with a table full of goodies, minus any actual prices.

No. The same with car and perfume adverts.  In fact any advert.  I switch to BBC usually when they come on...

99.9% no. Very occasionally I might see a specific Xmas food or alcohol item that appeals, usually in the M&S one.

So far it looks their throwing thousands of £££s down the drain.

I always record programmes I watch and fast forward through the adverts. Don't think I've ever seen a Christmas advert; not in recent years anyway.

I do the same as helly

The John Lewis one with the boxer on the trampoline was in a different league, the best ever. I recorded it and watch it regularly even though it was years ago. Makes my heart burst (it helps that boxers are my favourite dog).

It didn't increase a desire to shop more at John Lewis though.

No .      One minute we are in an obesity crisis and the next all these food ads. are being shown.

Seeing all the gorgeous M&S food adverts away me, but unfortunately I do not have a store nearby. As for the other ads, the food looks so ordinary.

^^^Sway me!

I am also the same as Helly except we watch on ITVX so the adverts are already cut out.  Can't remember the last time I saw an advert.

Yes, I do.

I find most of them helpful.

13.07 Good point, but now and again is ok, its when folk continualy eat themselves to an early grave.

No.  I rarely watch ads. anyway  and am pre-programmed to resist.

Ot seems that way to me. Still I suppose they know what they are doing so there must be a lot of easily swayed and gullible people about.
