Need a temporary wardrobe, so dont want to spend a lot. Not much room for it either, so needs to be compact, preferably pine. Dont like Ebay.

Argos?
I was in a similar position sort of between houses and I bought that canvas calico one in Argos which has wooden slats and a canvas calico thing you can pull down at the front. I think it was about 30 or 40.

will them slats take the weight of much clothes, saw one similar in matalan, one on display had slats broken!
When we move house , for a couple of weeks I use the wardrobe boxes sold by storage companies they are really strong re hanging weight and only cost 12 quid (ish) but it is a real case of function over form. They fold down afterwards or can be recycled. I got mine from a company called Space Station.
I use one of those ones with slats Diana, had it for a few years now and it takes a fully laden load of clothes on each shelf. It's also easy to take apart and re-assemble should you move home.
