I Wonder Why This Number Is Rising So...

Big Mac, thank you very much for your answer concerning the resale of postage stamps. I was inclined to think it was illegal to put a mark-up on the face value. Following your response, this will be acted upon tomorrow.
Thanks again for remembering.

Haven't got the letter with me but it more or less said "we take this very seriously... rely on customers such as yourself... preserve the good name.. thank you for bringing this to our attention" and enclosing a book of 12x1st class stamps.
So, it's worth sending a couple of letters to get 12 back, I reckon. No news on what happened/will happen to the retailer, though.
Best of luck with your complaint.
Hi Big Mac, I just thought, after all your sterling work on this subject, you deserved an explanation. My wife works part-time for the errant newsagent so, obviously, I don't want to make it official. I actually wanted some evidence for when she confronts her employer. She has already marked stamps at the proper price, but in her absence, the price has been marked up again.
I don't know how far she will take this since she enjoys her part-time job so much. I suppose, in the event of a complaint the owner would get it in the neck and not the staff. We'll see! Thanks again for your input Big Mac, watch this site. G.
