I've always had a work phone (Nokia - Vodaphone) and now am leaving my job. I realise that I have no idea about best deals out there. Like the new Nokias and also the Motorola, but should I use pre-pay; pay as you go or other? I tend to text maybe 20 per week but not many calls -usually to arrange to meet v chat so maybe 15 short ones per week max. Seems ridiculous that I don't know what's best to do - buy a 120 phone or a cheap one and get conned with additional costs? any advice helpful. mai

It depends where you live and how strong reception is.

I'm not too bothered about the appearance of the phone, more the cost, so I've had 3 network for the past two years. There are some marvellously low offers on contract on this network, if you are prepared to use the cash redemption vouchers. Use the internet to get details.

If you want better phones then again look at what is available on the net.

well if it were me I'd go pay as you go and go to the o2 web site (best o2 deals) and get the free sim card with free 300 text per month. MIn top up of 10 per month
Just echoing kattyia5. O2 offer a really good pay as you go deal. Any unused calling credit at the end of the month is carried over too.
