Hi all. I am REALLY struggling to find a present for my best friend's husband's 40th birthday... He REALLY DOES have everything.. So far, I have got him a silver plated 'ball scratcher'!! See what I mean!?

on the charity gift idea, oxfam have a great range of gifts - you can buy him 100 school dinners, or a goat, or my personal favorite, a toilet!

How about having a tree planted? www.carbonneutral.com (formerly future forests) have ideas for gifts for special birthdays and the tree can be planted in a forest near to where he lives, in a celebtiry forest or abroad. Each gift comes with a certificate and a map of where the tree is planted. If he needs a 'ball scratcher' how about a tube of cream!! Hope you sort something out
