Yes, I am sure that if you go into tesos, they have personally inspected every item - opening up the tins to make sure that there are no foreign objects in etc.
No, I am not assuming that because something is expensive it is going to be alright.
I am assuming it is going to be okay as: Sony is a reputable company which have been manufacturing for over 30 years plus The tv I am looking at has won various awards by independent.
I am also not stupid enough to think that Argos (or in fact any other retailer you care to mention) have tested my specific model.
I am aware that things do go wrong, and should anything go wrong, I am confident that Argos will arange for repairs or for a refund.
But still, on the basis that Argos has a turnover of �2.8 Billion pounds and pre tax profits of over �60 Million, I doubt they are going to mourn the loss of a silly woman who thinks that they should inspect every product before it leaves the store!
