lol, I had a woman in yesterday first thing with S Bowman in Black that she bought on 14th december, she said the metal support car running thru the insole had snapped and the boots now had no support. they were size 8, wide fitting tough boots, and she told me she was a civil engineer and needed sturdy boots which is why she bought them! I told her she had had the use of them for nearly 6 monhs and they had obviously been well worn and offered her a 75% refund, she was quite happy and I should blody think so! they are not made for climbing ladders and scaffoldong and yompin round building sites! I thought it was a god result as she was demanding the full �85 back!

my uncle had a door bell that he got in argos and 10 mnths later it broke so he went and bought the same one and put the old one in the new box and took it back and got a refund. it was �30 bit expensive for a door bell but he got away with it.

The new legislation in the sale of Goods act states that the onus is on the purchaser to prove the goods were faulty after 6 months, this is considered in law to be a reasonable length of time for any fault to show itsself.

similar to mnko i once broke my gamecube controller so i bought a new one and put broke one in box and returned it. I also got away with it what a bunch of hustlers we are eh!
