Summer wedding guest outfit

I am going to my brothers wedding at the end of June on the south coast Dorset area (so will hopefully be hot and sunny!) I am a size 18/20 and tend to wear jeans and t-shirt alot, and when I wear suits for work they appear very blokey on me. I want to dress to impress in a feminine manner but don't like wearing dresses or skirts!! HELP!! Any ideas on flip flop type footwear to match would be good too. Money limits about �200......ish.

Why not go for a light cotton trosuer suit in a pastel shade - salmon or lilac will be nice for the occasion, and the weather.

Find one with loose fitting trousers that flair all the way down. Wear them with sandals with heels, and a long jacket - this will flatter your figure.

Under the jacket, wear a contrasting plain light cotton blouse with either long wide sleeves, or short (but not sleeveless) sleeves. This will give you the option of slipping your jacket off if the day is warm, and still looking stylish.

*ps if it helps. i'm 23 and about 5' 8" tall. And heels won't be an option because is a garden wedding - don't want to sink in the grass!

new look have a clothing range called "inspire" for sizes 16-26, and they have some quite nice tops and some linen trousers as far a sim aware. you could always were a floaty blouse with some linen trousers or a nice skirt.
right now they have some nice blouses in which would look good, they also have a big range of flip flops in at the moment!

monsoon have got some gorgeous lines in at the mo, so much in there you can wear for a wedding,and lovely flip flopy shoes too.!

think if it was me, (im the same height and clothes size as you,) i would get a pair of white linen trousers and a kaftan. seriously have some beutifull non demis rousos ones in monsoon! check it out!

they go up to a size 22.

I'm a size 18/20 and have just bough a beautiful long red linen dress with matching jacket from Alex & Co which is sold at John Lewis and Lewis' shops. I know you say you don't wear dresses but I think it would be perfect with flip flops and (if you want) a straw hat. The dress is �100 and the jacket �50. Consider it.

Evans have some lovely tops at the moment which are gathered in the middle these are really flattering, they also have loose fitting straight leg trousers and most of there new line are mix and matchable!! You can check out their range at Evans.co.uk or pop into one of there shops and have a gander x x
