If i were you i wouldnt touch it with a barge pole.

If you pay by western union bank transfer its hard to get money returned, especially if youve waited for goods to arrive. There are many conmen on ebay who all ask for western union payments. he may not be one of them, but you will be taking the risk. Whats his feedback like?

Ask him why he wont accept paypal.

I can only agree with redcrx, DO NOT send any money by Western Union as you have no comeback at all if it is fraudulent (and if it sounds to good to be true then it probably is).

If you are looking to do this sort of thing then Paypal is the way to go as long as you read the paypal rules re total amount being sent and the maximum amount you can claim.

you need to consider why the person isn't selling the phones for 729 him/herself. If they are such a great bargain, why isn't he selling them idividually and pocketing 3600 euro's instead of a measly 700?

just as an aside, what mobile phones cost that much? isn't that about 500 squids?

You should get the idea by now but just to reinforce it... STAY AWAY!!

nooooooo!!!!!!!!! My best friend got stitched up this way - she sent money throught Western Union and if you put it into Google it will tell you just how dodgy it is!!

She innocently ended up involved in money laundering for a guy in Nigeria and she thought she was helping him out!!

many thanks. ebay should do something about them there all over ebay.

EBAY always tell you not to use Western Union as you are not covered and all email offers like this should be forwarded to [email protected]. Although they don't seem to do anything about it, maybe they will one day.
