Try and stay away from brands like, Bush, AIWA, even LG as these do have faults almost everytime.
They may be a little more expensive, but it's better than sending it off every couple of weeks.

I have the Pioneer one and haven't had any problems.........one thing I would say though is be careful of the wires connecting the screen to the player as they look quite sturdy but seem to have fairly loose connections, causing the screen to go off while you're watching it!
We don't use ours in the car (bit scared of getting it pinched!!) but my dad bought it for my sister while she was in hospital for 10wks last summer and it proved to be a big success - now, my 3yr old son uses it for watching DVD's in his room!
