Most men would love football tickets to see their team. Or clothes as most men hate shopping

every birthday and Christmas my dad said that he wanted "pants and vests" so he got them. When he died we found drawers of unopened "pants and vests". What the moral of this story is is a mystery to me, but men are so hard to buy gifts for.

Buy him a game for his PS thingy or computer, something related to a hobby he has or an "experience voucher" - if the pennies will stretch to that.

Is he a keep-fit type, or interested in walking?

How about one of these little pedometers you clip onto your belt to show how many paces you have walked in a day?
You can get them in sports shops or buy them on the internet, and they cost between �5 - �12 depending on how sophisticated they are.
