Does anyone know where I can purchase a 'travelling teddy bear'?
I remember seeing one some time ago and it had either a little rucsack or a suitcase. It is for my little grandson and the general idea is that the bear travels to all sorts of destinations and has his photo taken beside well known monuments, etc in the various parts of the world. Makes a very good keepsake but unfortunately I just cannot track one down.

It sounds like a Paddington Bear as when he arrived at Paddington Station from Peru.
Just had a quick look on Google - go` to Worldwide Shopping Mall = Paddington Bear with Luggage bag @ 12.
If you can't find the exact one you are looking for you could always try The Bear Factory.

They have all sorts and you can custom make your own bears if you want and buy them separate outfits and things...you can even put your voice inside it.

Not very authentic, but nevertheless I'm sure you can get a travelling bear!

May be fairly expensive however...

The Bear factory in Cornwall is expensive for customising bears.

Thanks to everyone for all their help.
they do one in early learning and woolworths
I bummed mine off a sales rep - the only downside is that his company name is on the rucksack.

Which means that an advertising gimmick company might help.
I'm a Nursery Nurse, and I got my Barnaby Bear off EBay. They have the exact same one on there at the moment:

He came with a suitcase and change of clothes and the kids love him. He also has a diary which you can write accounts of his journey and stick in photos.
