I came across item number 190020730809 on ebay while looking for lenses for my camera.

My initial response was that it seemed to encourage inappropriate use, which may be exploited by certain choice people.

What do you think?

i agree. just the item peado's would use without getting caught. should be removed.
that's just wrong.. I tried looking for the link to report the listing but couldn't find it..!
Sorry I must be totally thick - what on earth does that mean?
Ok fine I've managed to get the link to work now - very dodgy goods I would say and not at all what our friend mnko would have in his ebay shop -
Definitely open to ambiguous interpretation!!!
These have been around donkey's years. I remember seeing them 30 years ago. Why are they suddenly a danger?

Legitimate use? I can think of one straight away: candid portraits. Point a camera at people and they start pulling faces.

This paedo-obession really p*ss*s me off!

Should convicted paedos be able to get glasses on the NHS?

Catso... my original observation wasn't that it was aimed at paedo's, but purely that the auction description seemed to encourage inappropriate use. Paedo's yes, but also stalkers, 'dirty old men' and perverts. If his sample photos had been of a dodgy meeting between stereotyped men in gangster suits rather than girls on a beach, perhaps the auction wouldn't have been as dubious.

I'm on holiday in a few weeks, and the last thing I want is some w**k** taking secret shots of me sunbathing for his own 'personal use'!!
