Bad customer service.

Is there anything you can do if you are given bad customer service in a local shop/ private business?

Write to the managing director of the company/chain at Head Office. If it is a private business, just don't go there no more !!

If it was to do with consumer legislation you can go to your local trading standards department and explain what has happened, and if they feel the shop went against the Sale of Goods acts or any of the amendments or additions, then they will pay them a visit.

Write to your local paper/phone the local radio and publicise the fact that they give terrible customer service
