ipod orders - how long do they actually take?

i ordered an engraved ipod from the uk apple site and am sooo excited i can't wait a minute longer. i paid via bank transfer on thursday 14th - they say up to 15 days, anyone with experience know if it might be faster??? are they shipped from the us???

I ordered 2 Ipod Shuffles from the Apple store online and they arrived by 10am the next day - obviously not shipped from the US!. Hopefully yours will arrive any day now. Was it one of the new aluminium Nanos? I might get one from the states when I go on Friday (to replace my scratched Nano!)

My friend ordered an engraved one for her husband last year, and I'm sure it took exactly as long as they said. Sorry, but it looks as if you'll have to wait just a little bit longer!

thanks - well i just got an email saying it's been posted on the 21st but they expect it to arrive on the 3rd oct! hoping they are being quicker and just protecting themselves :)

no it's a 30GB black one. i already have a nano and it's beautiful, really nice, but it 's only 1GB and i'm a music teacher and use it to carry tracks for work around so it's necessary for work. honest! :)
