Squeaking shoes

I recently bought a pair of Geox slip ons, which fit perfectly and are very comfortable, but the only problem is they squeak as I walk. The noise comes from the friction of my sock against the inner lining of the shoe. Does anyone have any tips to correct this?

How about placing an in-sole inside your shoe. It might make them even more comfy too!

If shoes squeak they are faulty, in my job i would automatically replace the shoes for a customer. (p.s. i sell posh shoes)

I thought if they squeaked it meant you hadn't paid for them.

They say that too here in Germany. I will try an insole rather than return them, even though I think an insole would make the fit too snug.
