Could anyone give me some ideas on what to buy for a wedding gift max 50? Only problem is bride and groom are asking for money and don't really want to do that!

well if they are asking for dosh, give them dosh, you might get them something they dont want
Get them vouchers, simular to money but then you know they will be spending it on doing up there home etc.

I don't like the idea of giving money as gifts either, but if that's what they're requesting, I'd write them out a a cheque (that's if you still use cheques)!

Other than that, I'd give them some John Lewis vouchers. I'm sure they'd enjoy looking around the store & choosing things for their new life together!
I can understand your point about not giving money. Why not try to find out what they are saving for and contribute in a different way. If they are saving for luxury holiday or travelling then maybe buy some travel vouchers or luggage. If they are saving for a down-payment on a house then maybe offer to pay towards the fees involved. I'm sure there are ways around that would keep everyone happy.
Have a look at a Wedding Capsule from http://www.timecapsulegifts.co.uk. It is something that will last and is a bit more personal than money!
