Xmas gift for wealthy boyfriend
4 Answers
Hi.
I have a dilemma. My boyf is well off, and I am not. What can I buy him for Xmas?
He loves fashion (we work in the industry) and looks after himself (ie skin, hair).
Problem is that I dont think that anything I choose would be good enough. He just bought himself a leather bracelet that cost 300! I cant compete with that!
Please help. x

Why not get him lots of silly, cheap things frim his childhood and package them all up nicely?
things like slinkys, mini lego sets (about a fiver from Woolies) bags of penny sweets, rubiks cubes, a DVD of his fave programes as a child..........the list goes on, I'm sure he'd really revel in being a 'big kid' again.

Once you put your own message on there it will be a unique present.
They also have a request section where you can request a design that is totally unique to you and no one else.
Have a look at their website or call Charles on 0845 833 1137 to discuss.

I'd try to go for something unusual or irreverent or - as one of the other posters said - just plain (and fun) childish - that he would never think of buying himself.
Over the past few years with my husband and brother the most successful presents have been some of the cheapest such as temporary retro tattoos, AC/DC album cover magnets, Sex Pistols coasters, a Union Jack passport holder.
I find that somewhere like e-bay is a good place to start to look for wierd and wacky things, even if you don't buy them from there (it's my husbands birthday in a couple of weeks and I am at the moment looking for funky/unusual glasses cases to go along with the Clash Singles Box Set he asked for!)
Perhaps something a little bit off-kilter will do. Then you don't have to directly compete (which I am sure he doesn't want) and it'll be original

how about some aftershave? you can buy brand name products for discount prices search on google... or make som promise vouchers - I promise you a candle lit dinner, massage etc. Or an activity day - car racing, pampering etc.
or... agree a price limit say 50 so you both get something of equal value.
Don't feel pressured or uncomfortable
