Removing ink from beloved dolls face...

Hi, I am unsure as to where to seek help for this one so I have posted this question in a few different topics...

During a recent holiday my nieces favourite doll was packed along with various comics/magazines etc., unfortunately when it was removed from the bag the dolls face was covered in ink which must have transfered from the comic.

Does any one know of anything that will remove the ink nothing will placate her, please, please help we are desperate!

You could try nail varnish remover or white spirit?

the best and only thing i found worked was fairy washing up liquid. it took the ink marks of my 3yr olds trousers, rub it in and leave it on for an hour then wash it off.

Hi, Thank you both for your suggestions, unfortunately neither have worked, the dolls face is a rubber like substance - any suggestions?
