phone and kick up a stink, they might throw in a few freebies when they do get round to delivering
I had a similar problem so I rang their 0845....customer service line and they delivered it later on after my slot has elapsed and refunded my delivery charge.
I have had loads of problems with Tesco Online, but like you my nearest supermarket is miles away and I don't drive. The usual problem is when they don't have half your items in stock, then give you completely inappropriate substitutions, so you end up having to do a 2nd shop that week. Grrrrr!!!! Try emailing them BusyBee, and threaten to take your custom to Sainsbury's!!
Tesco online is a nightmare, the last (and only) time we used them, we ended up going straight out to sainsburys after it was delivered to get the rest of the stuff they hadn't brought, or the stuff that was wasn't fit to eat
