i read in the papers that 'saw 2' was so scary that people were being taken ill in cinemas, and ambulances were being called during showings!

'the ring' is also meant to be scary (my sister who loces horror films told me she couldn't sleep for days after seeing this!)

I would say "hostel" is definitely one of the goriest!
