Hello, we currently have a fuji finepix digital camera and absolutely hate it for the following reason. There is a massive delay in when you press the shutter and when it captures the image especially as we have a very fidgety child!! By the time the shutter snaps she has moved and its all blurred. What we do like about it is the fact that you can waste so many pictures [you need to] and pictures are really easy to download.
Can anyone suggest a user friendly camera that IS digital but has a faster shutter speed. Realise it will be more expensive and less compact than the one we curretly have but know nothing about cameras at all.
Really dont want to waste another year of c**p photos of our little one. Thank you

Hi, i also have a Fuji Finepix but i have to say i haven't noticed a big delay - have you tried altering your iso speed and flash setting etc?
I also have a canon IXUS and have never had any problems with that either - mind you i'm not taling photos of a small wriggly child!
For proper advice take it into Jessops or somewhere similar - i've always had good sound advice from salespeople in jessops. Good Luck!
