Engineers rule wanted - extra long.

I am looking for a steel rule measuring 3 metres. Not a tape; rigid. Think school ruler on steroids!
I have seen very long brass rules embedded in counters at haberdashers, so presulambly such things are made somewhere. Anyone any ideas?

I think you are going to struggle finding anything that long. This site has several 1m rules and if you click on 'rustless rules' there is one 1.25m long ... at �107!!!
