Just wondered if anybody knew what is tax deductable if you're self-employed as a mystery shopper. Some companies already deduct tax, but for the ones that don't, can you claim mileage on your tax return or anything else?

Go to - www.hmrc.gov.uk and search the self employed pages. Failing that call your local tax office and ask for any advice or information on deductable expenses. I'm assuming you have registered as self employed? if not don't call.

Thanks. Yes I have registered as self-employed but couldn't find much more out.
