Am I the only one who says "thank you" to automatic doors when they open for me?

Nope, I do it too for some really odd reason. I have also been known to say it to cash machines, they have not answered back, which I am most pleased about.

It all sounds perfectly normal to me.

I've been known to dig a baked bean tin out of the rubbish bin, just after I've thrown it in, because I've felt sorry for the baked bean that was left on its own in the bottom of the can. It was my duty to re-unite it with its friends in the saucepan, rather than condemn it to a lonely death.
