split ends

Can anyone recommend anything for smoothing split ends?? My hair is really fly away even when I have used the straighteners the ends still look 'dry'. Any ideas??

ive got the same problem my hair is extremly dry and my split ends all awful from the years of straighting and highlighting etc, i always use without fail PAUL SMITH SHINE SPRAY, i buy it from my hairdressers, so pop to a hairdressers and theyll get it for you most prob, its about �12 for a fair sized bottle which last a good while! so good value for money, once ive washed my hair i give it a good spray before blow drying anf straighning the hair dressers say u only need like 1 or 2 sprays but my hairs soo bad i need a few, its fab and i wouldnt dream of straighning my hair with out it!!

Hi Elsie13 (again), it's me wazzaa. I suffer from the same problem so know what you are saying, I use John Frieda Frizzeeze light serum, which makes my ends feel so much better without making my hair heavy or oily. Of course the best way is to have 1 cm cut offf the ends , every month, just try it for a few months and see. I don't use straighteners quite so much either, because they are vicious to hair that has a dry end. Do be carefull. Wazzaa X
