Because most things you get from Sainsburys are better than Tesco - I am racking my brain to think of anything from Tesco that is better than Sainsburys, but I am stumped. Tesco's problem is that although their food looks really good, it just never tastes as good as it looks and you always end up slightly disappointed. I live about the same distance from Tesco and Sainsbury, and tend to buy all my tins and things from Tesco then go to Sainsbury for Real food! My son who will not eat real potatoes, only instant mash, will only eat Sainsburys instant mash, not even any named brands, he can taste the difference (I recently tried it myself, and I have to say that he is right, it is very good for an instant mash)
Dilligaf, going by your user-name, why should you care? lol ;-)
hi have to agree annie! having shopped at tescos for years because that was the only supermarket around, I now have a tescos, waitrose, sainsburys and morrisons all equi-distant away. I now choose to shop in Sainsburys as the quality of their own ranges is much better than tescos. I think tescos is forgoing flavour and quality for price these days.
I think it's a matter of taste.
I don't remember not liking them from TESCO's, however, nothing beats the ones I make myself....
