i was just reading in my local paper about kids brushing up on oral hygiene and it bought back a very old memory for me. Does anyone else remember, at primary school, when they got given the toothbrush, some toothpaste and that little pink tablet you had to suck on and where you teeth weren't properly clean, they shone bright pink???? i remember being terrified of having bright pink teeth!!!!!!! anyone got any other funny memories from school like this one of mine?

Infants and junior school were ok but senior school was sh!te, the only days I liked were Fridays, I fooking hated school, I was bullied in my first year at senior school and that stayed with me for my 5 years there, it wasn`t bullying like fatso or spotty, but some bastad was nicking my dinner money each day cos he caught me smoking and threatened to tell my mum, it`s laughable now but at the time it was a nightmare

I just hope my kids never go through the shame thing
Standing in line waiting for the "nit nurse" to drag her comb through your head was terrifying, especially if the smelly kid was infront of you. I was also devastated when I didnt get in the choir, I thought I could sing.
I spent some of my infant years in Scotland and I remember them coming round to class every so often with beakers of liquid and we had to swill it round in our mouths for a certain amount of time which was shown on a clock timer, presume that had something to do with dental hygiene!
nits and couldnt sing , no luck eh............. : )
I have other talents ;)
not via the internet you dont. : )
I remember getting a red crayon stuck up my nose when at school and my Mum had to take me to the hospital and i remember my teacher hitting me on the back of the head with a book so hard I nearly passed out!!

And I loved the banana custard but it always made me throw up and then I had to go home!!
well well, and i suppose now you have found GOD your too busy to post now, RATTER ?
Do I not make you laugh a little bit ? Or are you in Mary Whitehouse s corner. : p
God didn't help me win anything on the nags!! what good is that!! so what else can he do?
