Internet ordering Daily Toric Contact Lenses - HELP!

I'm thinking of ordering some daily toric lenses off the internet ( I currently have monthly ones). I have my prescription but everytime I want to order some from various sites, they never seem to have an option for mine. E.g. I can choose the sphere and axis correctly to my prescription, but the base curve, diameter and cyl always have a permanent amount that's not it which I cant change.

What I need to know is, does it matter just as long as the power is the same? Or is it vitaly amount that every single detail is correct? I've noticed that different websites have varying base curves/diameters that you cant change, so I'm thinking that its just to do with the make of lenses. Would I be correct?

Can I ask what sites you've been looking on?
It sounds like you're trying to order spectacle lenses rather than contact lenses to me.

Its definitely contacts. A couple of sites here: www.contactforlenses.com and www.lenscatalogue.co.uk

After further research though, it looks like daily oric contact lenses arent that common at the moment, hence why its limited to certain specs.

The sites should require you to fax off your perscription to them in full (has to be a valid perscription, given to you not less than 12 months ago). They are not legally allowed to send you contact lenses without having received a copy of your perscription. That is why most sites don't ask for your full contact lens details. Some ask you to sign up and fax the perscription before ordering, others after.

I have used http://www.postoptics.co.uk/ for about 5 years now and although I cannot guarantee they are still the cheapest their customer service is superb. They are fast, friendly and have only once got it wrong and they corrected it and gave me a discount immediately.
