Can I use my bank debit card (with a mastercard logo) on a UK website? I live in the States and I've seen some interesting products from previous posts, but am not sure how it works.
Thank you!!
P.S. Obviously I have to figure out the exchange rate, etc for my own book keeping.

I live in Germany and order lots of stuff from the US.
I have only ever come across two companies that did not accept foreign credit cards.
With one I could resolve the problem via email.
Their homepage just wasn't set up for it, but they did accept my card in the end.
With the other, they would not let me use it, funny enough I found the same articles (from the same company) on amazon.com later and they always accept my German credit card.
Some companies do not ship abroad at all though, and some have ridiculous shipment prices, so better check that, too.
