Need help. Ebay problem...no wedding present!
5 Answers
Hi, I have just bought an item (2 statue lions - 50) from ebay. Unfortunately the item does not match the picture on the listing. Plus, the size I was told by email from the seller was 9x4x8 inches each. I have emailed the seller and they say the lions are the same as in the picture (they are definately NOT!), plus the size of each lion he says now are 9x4x8 CENTIMETRES!!!
Please can someone tell me what the Ebay policy is on this, and how I can complain? The seller doesn't have a returns policy, so I can't get my money back to spend on an alternative wedding present for my best friend!!
Thanks

If you go into the item listing and go to the very bottom of the page (and it is right at the very end!) there is an option to report this item. Report is as different to listing. Hopefully you paid by Paypal as you have more chance of getting your money back. Hope it works out.
This is the eBay process:

If you paid by PayPal, click 'report a transaction dispute' in the left hand pane:
https://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/cps/securitycenter/buy/Index-outside
Chasing through PayPal is the better option.

i'd email the seller first to tell them that you'r unhappy with the item and if they would refund your money and tell them that you 'll go through the dispute route of you still cant sort it out, most sellers would rather sort it out before going through a dispute and negative feedback. worth a try first!
