i have purchased a branded deoderant, issey miyake ,going through duty free in birmingham airport,it is faulty after a few weeks,the wheel will not turn to lift the stick,.if you know what i mean....how do i go about returning it? Also i no longer have the recipt..typical...thanks for any help

did you pay by credit card? the store may be able to trace it if you have.

Phone the shop and see what they say first
Try emailing issey miyake through their website, they may send you a new one if you detail what happened
I'm pretty sure that shops have to give you an exchange for faulty goods whether you have the receipt or not. It says this on the dti website:

Q7. Do I have to produce a receipt to claim my rights?

No. In fact the trader doesn't have to give you a receipt in the first place so it would be unfair to say that you had to produce one. However, it might not be unreasonable for the shop to want some proof of purchase, so look to see if you have a cheque stub, bank statement, credit card slip etc., and this should be sufficient.

thanks all,i have got the address of the duty free shop,so iv been asked to send faulty goods back...cheers!!!
