Hi
I purchased a lovely money box tin from the RSPCA shop in Gosport at the weekend. My neice was overjoyed to be able to put all her money in it. Later on she tried to open the moneybox, so she could count all her money - no joy!! I went back down to the shop and asked the daft question "How do you open the moneybox?" I was told the ONLY way to open it was to use a tin opener! WHAT???

these are well known types of money boxes. the principle is the same as behind Terramundi money boxes - simply that you are encouraged to save up more because you cant open is without destroying it. terramundi jars can hold up to 1000 pounds apparently - i think they are a good idea! sorry giggles but didnt it say anything on the packaging?

I can see your point about saving. No there was nothing about how to open it when I purchased it.
