To those of you that have a nectar card have you received a free treat book??
If so have you applied for one?
I did I gave 2 choices and received a gym pass which i didn't ask for and didn't want.
I have heard a similar story from other people who all have received the gym pass!!!
Just wondering how widespread this is.I applied as soon as i received the booklet so it was obvious that the treats on offer were no longer avalable when the book was sent to me.
happy new year nectar!!!!!!

I didn't bother as I had already heard that it was rubbish...nothing I wanted anyway-lol

pastafreak,Thankyou for your fast reply.I don,t usually bother with these things either but just fancied a little treat after a busy christmas.
What a waste of time it just annoys me that they can get away with it.
I tried to choose a treat and it told me that I have to be the main card holder...WHICH I AM! so I didn't even get the opportunity to be dissapointed with a gym pass!!
Not sure what they gain from it...WE certainly don't!
They probably get something back from the Gym as they are referring you as potential new members?
LOL-hippy...that's funny!
I'd only go to oggle the hopefully hunky gym instructors!!
I got one of those treat booklets; however havent chosen anything yet. When I do, I will let you know what I get!

Thankyou for your answers. Please keep me posted as to what happens.
I am going to complain also.
What is the point in offering something that is not available.

Happy New Year to all.
when it first came out i applied for a massage or head massage and recieved a day out walking round a country park near me thats free anyway and im disabled, so cant walk round. I didnt bother getting back to them
Hello
This happened to me as well, i also rang to complain- i was told that the demand had excceded the amount of 'treats' available and that i should ring again 'as more would be available' - i have not rung back as yet - i will keep you posted...i do sort of feel i have been fobbed off though...along with many more by the sounds of it!
Happy New Year

As a Nectar card holder I am reading with thread with overwhelming envy as I haven't had the option of a treats book.

Why not, I wonder......Is this some kind of discrimination? Will I be able to claim thousands in compensation for emotional stress at being omitted?
I applied for a day out voucher to take my 6 year old daughter somewhere and received the voucher via email the next day.
I now need to call up the venue to book - this doesnt make sense as since when have you had to call a farm/wildlife park etc.. so that you can spend a day there?!
My hubby threw it all away unbeknown to me!! knew nothing about it until I saw a friend yesterday who told me all about it and going for a full body massage at clarins beauty place today. Been looking on the website but cant find any mention of it. she must have been one of the lucky ones!
