With the new year I have decided to organise our photos. Over 50 years or so they are many. I have been looking for 6x4 slip in albums that don't cost the earth.
A trawl round Oxford today found affordable albums mostly taking 200 photos, or 30 -40 for 500/600.
The cheapest on-line I have found is a loose leaf model
(cover plus 4 packs of inserts) @ 26 (+p&p) for 400.
Does anyone know of any better bargains please. My pocket would be most grateful!

TK Maxx does loads of photo albums. I've picked up loads of thick leather ones from there for about a tenner.
Almost any 'discount' shop (e.g. Poundstretcher) will be able to sell you suitable albums at a tiny fraction of those prices.

Jessops will sell you a slip-in album for 100 6x4 photos, from their 'Classic' range for 4.99.

For better economy, they also sell a slip-in album for 120 6x4 photos, from their 'Snapshot' range for 2.49.

Thank you both Suzieb and Buenchico, I shall have to have another day shopping!
There's a poundstrecher in Witney if that helps, also try some of the art / craft store as they sometimes have some and also the works

Thank you Cheekystar, had thought of going to Banbury tomorrow, I think they have a Poundstretcher but they certainly have a Wilkinsons. I have found albums that take 300 6x4 prints in Woolworths. Best I've found so far. The most important consideration is space saving and in that respect the larger capacity albums have a smaller footprint. And, of course I want to stay solvent!

that's only for digital, though, ClareDanes. jayemcee's talking about old-fashioned prints.
