Where can I buy a plastic tea strainer in the UK. These were once commonplace and graced the shelves of most corner shops. The mesh in the metal ones are too wide. My 20 year old plastic strainer (made in Hong Kong embossed on the handle!) has just died.

You can get them in Wilkinsons, I bought one myself two weeks ago.

btw they sell both the metal ones and the plastic ones. I wasn't sure which one I required (it was for a project I was working on) so I bought one of each. But you're so right, they are very difficult to find. I must have tried every store in town before I went to Wilkos.
