Dress with tick black tights?? Yes/No

Hi,

I have bought a dress for my friends wedding reception later this month - the problem being is that i'm used to wearing long skirts as i hate my legs but this dress is calf-length. Is it a big fashions no-no to wear either opaque black tights with this (also, what type of shoes) or would it be just as bad to wear a pair of long boots with this - - to give you an idea, i'm in my late 20's and the dress in white/black and with pink flowers (It's looks nicer than it sounds) Thanks for any advice x

It's hard to say without seeing the dress but if it's a winter wedding opaque tights would be dead on.

As for shoes, go for some kind of black high heels with a round toe, dolly shoes or T-bar.
