Hi,

I need to post a set of skis inland UK. Packed they measure about 180cm long about 20cm width, 20cm height. Royal mail site says max length 150cm. Parcelforce will only send items this long for account holders. I completed the account application and am waiting a call which may take forever. I tried parcel2go and a couple of others and although at first it says 8.99 when everything is added for excess length etc it comes to about 60!

Anyone have any experience of sending big items cheaply? Thanks.

Forgot to say, they weigh about 4.5 kg packed.
Try Interparcel.com. They usually come up with several options with different prices.

I have used them a few times and have found them to be very good.
