Spring Wedding for Non-Dress Wearer!

I'm going to a friends wedding in May, but just have no idea what I could wear. I'm very much a tomboy and dont' feel comfortable in anything too girly, so am not going to wear a dress. What can I wear that involves trousers, but doesn't look like i'm just off to the office? I'm absolutely rubbish with fashion, so any help very gratefully received!! :o)

I'm 5'5", and a size 12ish.

If you don't want to look like you're going to the office what about a nice brightly coloured trouser suit.

My friend wore cream trousers and a pretty top to my daughter's wedding and I thought she looked great.

Thanks for your replies! Will probably try and steer clear of anything too dark to avoid that office look.
