Ipod backup charger

Reciently ive been browsing the net for a backup charger for my ipod touch, so it doesnt die while im on the plane. However, the only ones i have seen have a silly design - the charger covers the earphones hole, so i cant listen to my ipod while it charges.

My question is - Does anyone know where i can get eather an ipod extention cable so i can plug in my earphones while it charges, or is there a backup charger out there that doesnt cover the hole?

Have you tried hmv i got an ipod charger in there so i could charger it on the mains instead of my computer, i know you are looking for backup one though

Sounds like you need an external battery rather than a charger. It will in effect double your battery time for a flight.
