Come on ... we've all done it.

You turn round, bump into someone, say ...

"Oh, gosh, I'm sorry" ...

... and discover that you just said "sorry" to a manequin.

And yes ... lots of people saw you.

My mum took me to Madam Tussards when I was a kidl and I asked a 'security guard' where the scary part was much to my mums amusement... I never did find out who the person in the (apparently) security outfit was meant to be.

My Mum took me to the opticains because I kept bumping into lamp post and saying sorry.

There's much more to the story....but, I've got weird eyes....!!
I ran in to a lampost carrying a goldfish in a bag once... True story. (Probably goes some way to explaining a few things too).
at work we have manequinns that cost 3000 each and they sit and lie down and pose and they look so real and we have all said excuse me to them lol
Question Author
wonders if holding a goldfish has any causal link with colliding with a lamp post?

ffs Duchess i can't believe you have sat on that story for so long without telling us.
saw a blind man jump off a bus and walk straight slap bang into a lampost

think the council errected it the night before

the lampost didn't even say sorry
Do you know anything about knee supports? (B&S for you if so please).

I was very tiny and had been to a fun fair where goldfishes were still a prize. I completely over excited and probably hyped up on all manner of sugar and so was running along at great speed to show dad my goldfish. Suddenly there was an approaching lampost and I couldn't stop and I didn't want to put my hands up in case I dropped my fish so the obvious solution was to try and slow down but ultimately run in to the lampost... The fish was fine though. (Like I said, probably explains a few things).
hi china
