To continue... I have some worn out items of gold that mean nothing to me so I have nothing to lose, however I'd obviously like a good price for them and not be ripped off. I've seen their ads on tv and they are also on cashback websites like Quidco, so that suggests to me that they are reputable. Has anyone had any experience with them?

Why not sell them at a local jeweller? Try a few for the best price.

I would be more worried about sending a fat jiffy bag through the post addressed to "money 4 gold".
Must be tempting for the less than honest posties out there.

You will get next to nothing for it and then they'll melt it down and sell for triple what they paid you for it. Avoid.

there was an article on watchdog about it last night, you would be better advised to take it to a local jeweller, one guys gold was valued at 47 pound from money4gold and the same gold was valued at 470 pound at a jewellers....beware!!! shop around

Local jewellers in our area are paying around £7.60/gram for 9 carat gold. Weigh your gold and see what it's worth before you take it.
