Does anybody know whether camden market and punkyfish shops etc... will be open on Sunday 9th (I think) December?

yep, camdens always usually open on sundays. :-)

Camden Market and the shops around it tend to be open every weekend, hence the masses of people which are actually really quite infuriating!

Most stalls etc open around about 10/11, so get there as close to that time as poss if you wanna shop without having to fight your way through the crowds.
