I noticed that last week someone else was looking for an email to contact Play.com too, as their site doesn't seem to show one.
Needed to contact them myself, so thought I would post this here:
[email protected]
So far seems to work as I have been sent a ticket number.
I found [email protected] and have also been given a ticket number so fingers crossed. I find it annoying that these big online retailers hide any useful contact addresses.
i dont understand why you think you'll get a tenner. If it had gone up in the intervening time, would you expect them to email you and ask you for a tenner?
I expect them to give me a tenner as they have dropped the price immediately after I purchased. Comet did a similar thing a couple of years back when I bought another TV. I went back in as there was a minor fault to find that the tv had been reduced and I got the difference refunded.
I'm not sure if it is a legal thing but Play have also now refunded my tenner.
i think you must have a screw loose if you think they 'owe' you it....the price drop on a planned date...its just unlucky that you were just outside it...
I bought a jacket from timberland online, for £239 around midnight, in the morning the summer sale started and it was £100 cheaper so I complained and they gave me the difference back.
If they don't simply return it and reorder, or even cancel it if not been despatched yet.
