Watches in Argos catalogue
5 Answers
When Argos have a reduction in the price of some watches is it always the rubbish brands which are on offer? Have any of your readers seen for example a Citizen watch at reduced price? Citizen is not in the same league as a Rolex or Tag Heur but its better than some of those in the catalogue.

like all retailers argos buy a quantity of a line with the intention that the price remains prime i.e. full price, for a set amount of time and they will negotiate the price for the bulk order to allow for a reduction from the rrp after a pre-set amount of weeks, say 10 weeks at FP then maybe a week or two on offer with a small percentage off but then during the final weeks of their catalogeb they will sell it at the price they have allowed for from when they first ordered it, thereby maximising sales opportunities whilst at the same time controling profit. Very few retailers have sudden unplanned sales, all sale prices are planned well in advance and usually based on the predicted weeks of stock left.
http://www.stylishladieswatches.co.uk have a range of lovely watches at affordable prices. Much better than the ones you will find in the argos catalogue.
