Last year I see the Red Arrows and the Vulcan bomber. What a treat and have you heard how loud a Vulcan Bomber sounds if you're directly underneath it and it shoots straight up into the sky? It sounded like the sky was splitting and the end of the earth was coming, me and hubby had to cup our hands over our ears to avoid being serious ear damage!

We often get some spectacles like (o cant remember the bleeding name of the plane now drat) with jeeps suspended from them and they are so low flying as they are big cumbersome things.Its because we live very close to RAF Leuchars.I get hyper watching them.

Plus just a few weeks back i was buzzed and if you didnt think you knew what it was like then once its happened to you you definitely know.I was very excited that they chose my car to target even altho i almost wet myself lol !!!

Years ago when I was at RAF Wattisham on Phantoms, we had a squadron exchange with the Americans. They were chatting to us on the pan a few days into their visit, and a Vulcan was doing some locals .. (approaches and practice touchdowns) Vulcan pilots used to love doing Chandelles to show off.
Yank guy on the pan said our "fighters" were pretty large!!

Its the Hercules I was thinking of and we once saw a stealth bomber which was utterly amazing.
