The consumer champian Harry Cichy from the know infamous Hoover free flight promotion is asking trading standards & the OFT How long is a reasonable amount of time taken to repair White Goods & ellectrical appliances under additional warranty cover sold by stores such as Comet. Trading standards say six weeks. A Comet Manager say's they can take as long as they like. Are the Warranties really wirth the extra monies. Harry Imvestigates.
